Cyanotype is an antique photographic printing process, developed in the mid 1800's and distinctive for its rich blue colour.

Harness the power of the sun to make detailed prints from virtully any object that casts a shadow such as tools, toys, plants, leaves, stones, sand etc. Simply place the object on the sensitized suface and expose to sunlight (UV). Use a digitally-printed photographic negative instead of an object to create full-resolution photographs on paper or fabric.

Great for photographers, mixed media artists, printmakers, quilters, kids and more. This set contains enough chemistry to make approximately 65 8"x 10" prints on paper, or 50 8" x 10" on fabric. 

Can be used on any natural fibre/porous surface, including cotton, linen, silk, canvas, paper, wood and leather.
